FATHOM EVENTS and TCM BRING 1961’s WEST SIDE STORY TO THEATRES TOMORROW, DECEMBER 1

In honor of Stephen Sondheim and in celebration of the film’s 60th anniversary, fans can see MGM’s cherished classic in theaters nationwide

WHAT: In an homage to the legendary Stephen Sondheim, Fathom Events will present the original film version of “West Side Story” in theatres nationwide tomorrow only. Sondheim, who wrote the lyrics to this film at only 26 years old, passed away last Friday at 91. “West Side Story” was the winner of 10 Academy Awards® in 1962, including Best Picture.

Fans will get one last chance to see this classic on the big screen as Fathom Events concludes its run of the title on December 1.
