Catch Benedict Cumberbatch in Two Award-Winning Performances of ‘Frankenstein’ and ‘Hamlet,’ Returning to U.S. Cinemas for Two Special One-Night Events

WHAT:From National Theatre Live to cinema screens across the U.S., come two critically-acclaimed theatre performances – “Frankenstein” on Tuesday, October 25 and “Hamlet” on Tuesday, November 15, both at 7:00 p.m. local time.
The thrilling production of the National Theatre’s“Frankenstein” is directed by Academy Award®-winner Danny Boyle (“Slumdog Millionaire,” “Steve Jobs”), and features Olivier Award-winning performances from Benedict Cumberbatch(BBC’s “Sherlock,” “The Imitation Game,” “Doctor Strange”) as the Creature and Jonny Lee Miller (CBS’s “Elementary,” “Trainspotting”) as Dr. Victor Frankenstein.
Cumberbatch also gives a remarkable performance in the National Theatre Livepresentation of “Hamlet” as the title role of Shakespeare’s great tragedy. Directed by Lyndsey Turner (“Posh,” “Chimerica”) and produced by Sonia Friedman Productions. The original 2015 broadcast was experienced by over half a million people worldwide.
