DENVER (April 16, 2024) Fathom Events brings undisputed Super Middleweight World Champion and pound-for-pound great Canelo Álvarez LIVE to movie theaters nationwide as he takes on unbeaten all-action star and former world champion Jaime Munguía, Saturday, May 4 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The event will take place during Cinco de Mayo weekend, which will present a clash of two Mexican superstars representing the country of Mexico.

Canelo vs. Munguía is the first four-belt undisputed title fight between Mexican combatants and harkens back to the great Mexico vs. Mexico matchups of the past. Both Canelo and Munguía expressed respect for their fellow countryman during a recent press conference and promised to honor their shared heritage with an action-packed main event on Cinco de Mayo weekend.
