John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN

The 1978 film returns to the big screen

Fathom Events and SpectiCast are thrilled to bring John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN back to cinemas nationwide for a special one-night event on Thursday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m. local time. After John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN premiered in a theater in Kansas City, Missouri on October 25, 1978, the horror film took the country by storm. Over 35 years later, it has earned the title of one of the most successful independent horror films of all time, launched a huge franchise and has been making audiences scream ever since its debut. As a six year old, Michael Myers brutally killed his older sister on a cold Halloween night in 1963. After being locked away in prison for 15 years, he escapes and returns to his quiet hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, where he looks for his next victims including his surviving sister, Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis).
