Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

“Not that it matters, but most of this is true.” The notorious pair of bandits are back on the run to the big screen when Fathom Events, Turner Classic Movies and Twentieth Century Fox present the classic western Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969). The fictionalized telling of the larger-than-life outlaw comes to cinemas nationwide for a special two-day event on Sunday, January 17 and Wednesday, January 20. Paul Newman and Robert Redford set the standard for the buddy film, winner of four Academy Awards®, with this western classic. Sundance (Redford) is a mighty quick draw, and his partner Butch (Newman) is a gifted get-rich-quick schemer. With the law on their trail, the two pack their guns, and along with Sundance's girlfriend (Katharine Ross), head for Bolivia, away from the men trying to bring them to justice – and death. Catch the infamous pair on the big screen before they go on the run again!
