With more than 40 million records sold worldwide and countless sold-out tours, Rush – Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart – is not only one of the most inventive and compelling groups in rock history, but remains one of the most popular. The 2013 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees perform their classic hits like "Tom Sawyer", "The Spirit of Radio" and "2112" alongside newly reworked arrangements featuring the Clockwork Angels String Ensemble – the first time the rock trio has ever brought additional musicians on stage with them.

Don’t miss your chance to celebrate the ultimate Rush experience with a concert performance, band interviews and a glimpse into the band’s touring life behind the stage.

RUSH

About the Band
Rush burst out of Canada in the early 1970’s, and since their self-titled album in 1974, Rush has become known for its musicianship, complex compositions, and eclectic lyrical motifs drawing heavily on science fiction, fantasy and philosophy. The trio – comprised of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart – has spent the last 40 years cultivating the largest cult fan base in rock while still managing to sell out arenas across the country. Recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2013,  Rush is cited as a major influence by acts such as Foo Fighters, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Smashing Pumpkins, and Dream Theater, among others.

Geddy Lee
Geddy Lee is the lead vocalist, bassist and keyboardist for Rush. Lee joined the band at its start in 1968 at the request of his childhood friend Alex Lifeson. An award-winning musician, Lee’s style, technique and skill on bass guitar has garnered him Bass Player Magazine Hall of Fame status with six consecutive awards for Best Rock Bassist. He has also been cited as a significant influence by some of the top bass names in rock.

Alex Lifeson
Alex Lifeson is the guitarist for the band Rush. In addition to playing electric and acoustic guitar, Lifeson also plays other stringed instruments like the mandola, mandolin and bouzouki. Named in Guitar Player and Rolling Stone’s Greatest Guitarists annual lists, Alex fills out Rush's power-trio sound with a seamless mix of lush arpeggios and rock crunch that sounds like at least two players at once.

Neil Peart
Neil Peart is the drummer and lyricist for Rush. He replaced the band’s original drummer John Rutsey in the summer of 1974, two weeks before the band’s first United States tour. Widely known for his technical proficiency, stamina, and gargantuan drum kit, Peart has received numerous awards for his musical performances and frequently tops “Best Living Drummer” and “Drummer of the Year” Reader polls.
